So, I bought an MP3 player at Andrew's job the other day and for DAYS I couldn't figure out why it wasn't working.  The FM radio worked, but I couldn't get the songs to play.  So, I was messing around with it last night for about five hours and I finally figured it out!  Yay!

So, David (bartender) and I are starting to get along even better.  LOL!  There was nothing wrong before, but we're just starting to like play around because it's been so DEAD at work that we mess around behind the bar.  I gave him a hug bye Wednesday night and he was covered in Mango juice, so now it was all over me.  STICKY!  So, I rolled up my shirt so it wouldn't soak onto my skin and he was just staring at me.  Now, peeps, I think I have a nice looking body, but he was looking at my stomach like I was a Victoria Secret's lingerie model!  LOL!  Turns out he's a stomach man and he apparently REALLY likes mine!  So he was telling me that he wasn't going to be able to sleep or anything, so I decided to mess with him more so I'd get the last laugh.  So, I did a little belly dancing move and went home.  LOL!  I got a text saying that he wasn't able to sleep.

Bahama Breeze is going to start training me to be a bartender!  YAY!  I'm so happy!  I've already learned how to make four drinks and pour shots!  Yay!

So, I know I was told by my doctor that I had a torn ACL, but something just didn't seem right about that diagnosis.  First off, she didn't see the x-rays, didn't do an MRI, and BARELY examined my knee.  So, I just kinda took her word for it.  So, today I go to the orthopaedri surgeon (specializes in bones, tendons, muscles, etc).  So, he examines me, takes more x-rays and all.  His conclusion?  I dislocated my knee and it popped back into place.  Now, that makes a little more sense to me.  Turns out there's still some swelling.  Also, (and here's the kicker) I have a muscle that's not as tight as it needs to be in order to keep the knee sturdy.  So, that's why my knee popped out and back in so easily.  However, it can also happen again just as easily.  So, my options?  Intense physical therapy to make sure the muscle strengthens or surgery.  I would rather take the therapy.  He did tell me that I can stop wearing my knee brace and crutches, but HIGHLY recommends that I use a regular Ace Knee Brace.  He also suggested that I still not do any high activity for a little longer.  So, I won't be serving again until next week.  Until then, I'm still working ProHost.  I'm just glad that I don't have to use my crutches anymore.  I'm not sure if standing a long time will be the best for it, either.  So, I'll leave that up to my boss.  I can either sit and do my job or stand and still do the exact same thing.  At least I can hang my brace on my wall, now.

Okay, so I was talking to someone (purposely not using name because people on here know who he is) the other night.  He kept telling me that he was missing me and that he wanted another chance.  I don't know if I can take that anymore from him.  I got screwed over so many times with him.  He was going to be on an "extended trip" and then found out he's not going.  He wants another chance.  I just really hope a friendship will be enough for him.

About Me

  • Let me think...I'm a woman. Need I say more? I'm stubborn, strong-willed, and argumentive. I've been through more in my 21 years than anyone should which has now made me more cautious about the world and people. I'm tough when I need to be. I have two cats whom I consider to be my daughters: a domestic short-hair named Universe and a calico Persian named Gizmo. I would like to meet all the dumb asses out there so I can smack some sense into them.
